Richard Daniel FORT WORTH -- Richard Curtis Daniel beloved, husband, father, and friend passed away peacefully at home Sunday, August, 13, 2017. CELEBRATION OF LIFE: 3 to 5 p.m. Tuesday, August 22, at 809 at Vicker. 809 W. Vickery Blvd, Fort Worth, 76104. Richard was born in Fort Worth, Texas on October 27, 1952. He grew up in the Wedgewood area where he made countless lifelong friends. He graduated from Southwest High School in 1971 and later graduated from TCU in 1977 with a degree in business administration. Richard opened Artech Auto Glass & Window Tinting in 1981 where he pursued his dream of owning his own business. His customers became his friends and he greatly enjoyed taking care of them. Richard was an avid sports fan. He enjoyed watching TCU sports, Texas Tech football, the Cowboys, and Texas Rangers. He was a former bass player and greatly enjoyed music. His most enjoyable hobby was golfing with his friends. His family was his greatest accomplishment. He loved his wife, children, and grandchildren unconditionally. He is preceded in death by his father, Jerry Daniel, and his brother, Jeffrey Daniel. SURVIVORS: He is survived by his mother, Norma Lee Daniel; beloved wife, Gwen Daniel. Daughters, Brooke McWhirter and her husband, Grant, Lindsay Daniel, and Stephanie Ellis. His four grandaughters, Riley Shapter, Lauren Ellis, Rowan and Elliot McWhirter. His sister, DeeAnne Brown.
