Jean, I am so very sorry for the loss of a great man! He was so near to me and taught me alot about everything I do today. I wish there was some magic words to have for you to ease the pain but an attempt of that would be futile. Just know he was looked upon by alot of people as a great man and a great friend. I will never forget the things he taught me and the good times we had. God bless you all in this time of sadness but he deserves the right to give up his long fight and go "HOME"! Love you!

Jean, I am so so so saddened by (our) loss. I hope you know how much Rick's friendship meant to me. I am where I am today because of Rick.He was such a tremendous help to Craig and to me. I just can't tell you what you guys mean to me. I know that our loss is heaven's gain but hey, I'm selfish. I know nothing I say right now is going to ease your pain but just know that I CARE. I was out of town on funeral day. I could not cancel, but I wanted to be there. I love you. Stay close to God as I know you will.

Jean and Rich,
I just got home from Egypt and saw the news of Ricks passing. I am so very sorry to hear this sad news. I will continue to pray for the two of you and little grandson Trevor. Rick was the toughest of fighters, and at least now is no longer in any discomfort. I totally realize that this doesn't help us much down here, but at least we know he is with God. In fact, he and my Dad are probably already getting in trouble together. Lord please be with Rich and Jean, and give them the strength needed to help them through this tragic loss.

Love always,
Lance Austin
