Robert P. "Bob" Mulligan Jr., 69, passed away peacefully in the arms of his devoted wife in his home on Tuesday, April 12, 2016, in Grand Prairie. Funeral: 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 19, at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington. Interment: 2:15 p.m. in Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, Dallas, Lane B. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Memorials: Donations may be made to Carry The Load, Dallas. Bob was born in New Orleans, La., on June 8, 1946, to Robert P. Mulligan Sr. and Nellie Livermore Mulligan. He attended Holy Cross School and graduated from Southeastern Louisiana College with a bachelor's degree in marketing in 1968. Bob served in the United States Army in the Vietnam War. His passion was sales; whether it be with Carnation, Revlon, Becton Dickinson, Century 21, or, most recently, Re/Max-Pinnacle Group Realtors. Top of the Day! Bob was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors: Loving wife of 49 years, Pat "Trish" Mulligan; son, Kevin Mulligan and wife, Dottie; daughter, Kristina Nichols and husband, Keith; mother-in-law, Dinah Norton; sister, Maureen Maggiore and husband, John; goddaughter, Kaymen; and grandchildren, Mary-Katherine, Kurtis, Kaylie and Kelsey.
