Funeral: 2 p.m. Monday at Lucas Sylvania Funeral Home. Burial: Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park. Visitation: 1 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. The family will receive friends 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday.
She was a longtime member of Zion Lutheran Church, currently located in Watauga. She was born in Childersburg, Ala., to Clemmie and Kenneth Moore.
She had been a caretaker for many over the years. She was an outstanding, wonderful wife, mother and adviser.
Survivors: Husband of 60 years, Ralph A. Kindler of North Richland Hills; son, William K. Kindler of Fort Worth; daughter, Norma J. Kindler, D.D.S., with practice in Watauga; grandchildren, Elizabeth R. Wallace, Tristan A. Kindler and Morgan Bennis; and a cousin with whom she was raised, Estelle Mullins of Birmingham, Ala.

Ruth was a guiding light to those who would seek her counsel. She was a mighty woman of God and even when her light was dimming near the end she was still being strong for her family. God must have been waiting for her personally when she came through the gates of Heaven.

I consider it a pleasure to have known this wonderful woman. She touched my life in so many ways. I will miss her dearly. My heartfelt sympathies go out to her family.

What a jewel of a lady...her crown is heavy for she was a blessing to us all, but we know she is excited about that new body she's going to get. See you in heaven Ruth.
