Thomas Harold "Tommy" Kilpatrick, 81, passed away Thursday, Jan. 21, 2016, in Arlington. Funeral: 11 a.m. Tuesday at First Baptist Church, 301 S. Center St., Arlington, with Dr. Charles Wade officiating. Interment: Moore Memorial Gardens, Arlington. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington. Tommy was born Jan. 7, 1935, in Arlington to George Kilpatrick and Mattie Pruitt Kilpatrick. He was a member of a longtime Arlington family and was an active member of First Baptist Church. He graduated from Arlington High School in 1953. Tommy served in the U.S. Army, having joined in 1957. He married Sue Ann Burns in 1959 in Arlington. Tommy worked for Bob Cook Ford Motor Co. and Texas Electric Co. He retired from TU Electric in 1992. Tommy loved to hunt and fish. He also enjoyed volunteering at Mission Arlington. Survivors: Wife of 56 years, Sue Ann Burns Kilpatrick; daughter, Kimberly Kilpatrick Bena and husband, Gregg; sister, Lillie Wills; granddaughter, Kylie Bena; and grandson, Logan Bena.
