We were Tommy Jeff and Barbara's neighbor to the west in Colleyville for many years when Barbara was with the Post Office and TJ ran some cattle (and the donkey to guard them!) He was one those rare men who sealed a deal with a handshake, and expected others to do likewise. We will have many fond memories and stories about TJ for years to come.

Laura and Family,
I'm so sorry to hear about your daddy. So many memories of your family and mind. It's a wonferful feeling knowing that your childhood friends parents were friends with yours. When we moved to The Hills Of Monticello I told my children I used to play on that dairy all the time, that my friend Laura lived there.Funny story, my daughter Melissa expereniced her first calf being born on the corner of Westcoat and John McCain in your daddy's pasture. (Before all the BIG homes took over) And now I take my granddaughter to play on the splash park and playground. Your daddy was a great friend to my family and he has lefted us with many memories. I know you are hurting and I'm praying for you and your family!
God Bless You,

Vickie and family,
It's hard to know what to say at a time like this. We hope that knowing others care brings you comfort. No matter how much time we have to try to prepare our hearts, it still hurts so much to let go. May you find comfort in the knowledge that your Dad is free and at peace. May your grief soon be replaced by peace as you draw strength from the memories that will live forever in your heart. With sympathy, much love and caring....

To the McPherson Family,
I am truly sorry to hear of your recent loss of T.J. I extend my sincere sympathy to all of you at what I know is a very sad and mournful time.
I know first hand how profound a loss it is when you realize that he will no longer be there for all the events in your life. I can tell you though that the very best way to mark his passing is by filling your mind with all of the wonderful memories you have of happier times.
Your dad lived a long and rewarding life and accomplished so much in his lifetime. He will long be remembered as the hardworking, intelligent and loving man that he was.
My thoughts and prayers will be with all of you. May you find comfort in the outpouring of sympathy from all of us who share your loss.
In Deepest Sympathy,
Chris & Mary Ann (Sparger) Ashton

We pray a special blessing for each of you as you celebrate T.J.'s life, and we offer a heartfelt "thank you" to the McPherson Family for the legacy T.J. and Barbara provided Northeast Tarrant County. We "Oldtimers" will continue to respect and cherish precious memories of simpler times in Colleyville while others create their own beautiful memories in McPherson Park.
