Thomas Pribble Obituary
Service: 3 p.m. Monday in Laurel Land Memorial Chapel in Fort Worth. Interment: I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Godley. Visitation: was Sunday at Laurel Land Funeral Home in Fort Worth.
Pallbearers: Billy C. Pribble, Christopher R. Pribble, Gerald M. Brown, Randy Hoopingarner, Matt Wallace and Jermie Bray.
The family wishes to thank his doctors and nurses at Texas Oncology (especially John Nugent, Susan Siemson, Marie Spears and caring chemo nurses), whose dedication to their profession gave us 31/2 years of memories to cherish with this wonderful man. Cancer sucks! And for the last three months (we didn't get our estimated six months), our Vitas hospice nurse Bonnie Tarver made it suck a little bit less.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Carol Pribble; grandparents, Alvin Pribble, Lucille Mitchell (Lawrence) and Floyd Dawkins (Nellie); and first granddaughter, Ashley Nicole Pribble.
Survivors: He leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife of 31 years, Wanda M. Pribble; daughter, Sherry A. "Sher" Sims; son, Ronnie D. "Ron" Pribble and wife, Robin; grandchildren, Kerri A. "Squeaker" Sims, Hayley L. "Sugar Booger" Pribble, Matthew E. "Bud" Sims, Rachel S. McGowan and husband, Andy, Chelsea T. Jones and "special" forever daughter-in-law, Tonya L. "Lynn" Pribble; "special grandchildren," Shelby F. and William J. Lewis; brother, Robert T. "Robby" Pribble and wife, Carrie; uncle, Billy J. Pribble; aunts, Joyce Lunsford and husband, Johnny, and Theresa Ashcraft and husband, Chuck; niece, Holly L. Hill and husband, Diron; nephews, James F. "Jamey" Pribble and wife, Krista, and Christopher R. "Chris" Pribble; "special brother," Orville "Brother Nuck" Gross; best friend, Gerald M. Brown; and family and friends too numerous to mention.
