Timothy Sloan Obituary

Timothy L. Sloan, 51, was called home to be with Jesus on Monday April 7, 2014. Funeral: 1 p.m. Thursday at The Church at Azle, 1801 S. Stewart St., Azle. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Biggers Funeral Home. Timothy was born Aug. 10, 1962, in Jefferson County, Ala., to Alfred and Gloria Sloan and had been an area resident for over 20 years. He was a member of The Church at Azle and was a very devout Christian who loved his family. He worked for Patterson U.T.I. Drilling Co. for seven years and enjoyed his job and being around the people he worked with. Survivors: Wife of 33 years, Brenda Sloan; children, Alecia Renee Sloan and fiance, Jared Allyn Holt, and Justin Lloyd Sloan and wife, Kelsey Lynn; mother, Gloria Ann Lister; sister, Sharon DeBaun; brother, Alfred E. Sloan; and grandchildren, Ralynn Renee Sloan and Leighton Grace Sloan.
