Hello Bakers,
I am so sorry to hear about Todd's passing - and so sorry I heard about it just now. I found this picture from circa 1975 and hope it brings a smile to your face at how young he (we all!) looked! Please give your parents my love and save a hug or two for yourselves, Lauri & Jenn!

I am so sad to lose Todd, yet grateful for the time I knew him. We worked together at Sprint and I learned a lot -- both personally and professionally -- from him. We stayed in touch throughout turbulent times in our careers and I treasured his friendship through the years. Our discussions ranged from our mutual love of animals and music as well as divergent views on many social issues of the day. Todd respected my opinions even though he may have disagreed, and his calm yet direct challenges to my opinion would keep me on my toes! (But he always had a smile on his face or in his voice) We shared the "joys" of home ownership and commiserated as our beloved animals grew older and frail, lamented the state of corporate America and how to lead a more satisfying life. When my father died, I was surprised beyond words to see Todd at the funeral -- he had driven from Irving to attend because, as he said, he knew how hard it had all been for me. Never said a word, just showed up to show support. Quiet, unassuming, yet steady as a rock. I shall miss him every day and am a better person for having known him.

I'm sorry to hear of Todd's passing. He worked for me at OMD and for my friend Nan at Team Frito Lay. He was a kind hearted guy.

I am so sorry to hear about Todd's passing. We were both "Freaks" in high school and I remember attending a party at his house at least once. He was very gentle and always had a sweet smile. I got back in touch with him the last few years on fb and I was very proud he was for healthcare for all people. He spoke of his health issues openly. Will miss him.

I am totally taken aback on hearing of Todd's passing. I was a friend and band-mate back at Kansas University. At that time we lived in the same dorm, Hashinger Hall, and we had a band, The Deficit. I am so grateful for Todd being in my life way back then in 1982. Todd was an excellent musician and was so supportive of the band's efforts. I am so glad to hear he continued his craft. On stage and in the band room he never craved the spotlight, but made the sound better, tighter. When I felt exposed and uncertain when playing in public, Todd was a steady hand and presence that gave me confidence. He never complained about what tune we were going to do. He just was into it. And he made the music go. In the old practice room in the basement of our dorm he was always ready with a smile, never messing long with tuning or cables and the like. He was ready. We had a lot of good laughs in that practice room. I am thankful to have spent time with Todd. Our band played many a college party and once the big venue in Lawrence, KS. Playing with Todd and our mates was some of the most fun I ever had playing music in public. I am saddened to know the world doesn't have Todd any longer. And thankful for the time we had together. Peace to you, Todd. And peace to your family and loved ones.
