Vera Calvert Obituary
Service: Her homegoing service will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Elm Grove Missionary Baptist Church, with Dr. Carl P. Small as eulogist. Interment: Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery. Visitation: The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the church.
Memorials: Those Left to cherish her memories are her children, Ralph Gipson (Cookie), Timothy Madkins, Bobby Madkins and Velvet Wilson; and a host of other relatives and friends.

My name is India Gaynor (Small)I am the daughter of Dr. Carl P. Small. I would like to send the family of Mrs. Vera Calvert my thought and prayers are with you and your family in your time of need. I remember when I attended Elm Grove with my family. She was the most nicest and funniest lady I have meet and she used to always tell me I pretty and a little fat butter ball. I will miss her and that great and wonderful smile of hers.
