Verna Lee Stanton FORT WORTH -- Verna Lee Stanton, 83, entered rest April 22, 2018. SERVICE: 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 27, 2018 in the chapel at Historic Baker Funeral Home, 301 E. Rosedale. Burial: Cedar Hill Memorial Park Visitation: 1 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Verna Stanton was born October 26, 1934 to Jack and Nancy Christopher. She was preceded in death by her son, Alfred Jordan; parents and six siblings. SURVIVORS: Sons, Willie Noble (Ann), Donald Jordan, Lorenzo Jordan (Melvin), Lawrence Stanton and Darryl Stanton (Jana); daughter, Shirley Jordan; brother, Bobby Christopher; sisters, LaVerne Fennell and Alberta Taplin; 15 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; many other relatives and friends.
