Walter Pish Obituary
Funeral: 4 p.m. Tuesday at Clayton Kay-Vaughan Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Clayton Kay-Vaughan Funeral Home Chapel.
Walter graduated from Sul Ross State University; he also received a master's degree from North Texas State. He then taught school in the Alvarado, Robinson and Arlington Independent School Districts.
Walter was preceded in death by his parents, George and Alice Pish.
Survivors: Walter is survived by wife of 37 years, Nancy Pish; daughter, Carol Roudebush and husband, Robert, of Grapevine; grandchildren, Dylan and Keegan; brother, Thomas Henry Pish and wife, Rida; sister, Linda Pish Bundy and husband, Bill; and a host of family members and friends.

He was a great sub and a great teacher in the 6th grade for me. I will never forget him. I will truely miss him. He has been in my life for about 4 or 5 years. I wish the family well, and I know that it is horrible to lose someone, all of you are in my heart and on my mind as you go through this parting. I am sorry for your loss and everyone please accept my sympethy.

Nancy and Carol, I am so very sorry to hear of your loss. I have great memories of spending countless hours with each of you and though time and distance has spanned the last 20 years, nothing can erase the memories of what a wonderful man Wally was and I know he will be greatly missed by many. Please take comfort in knowing that Wally made a difference in so many people's lives and those very acts of kindess will live on forever and the memories will one day soon give you comfort .

Nancy and Carol, Our hearts and prayers go out to you during this time of sorrow. Wally was a great guy with a big heart. We will always be grateful to him for his act of kindness the year we had the big ice storm in Alvarado and power lines were down in our area for three days. Wally drove out to our house and rescued us and insisted that we take our 3 children and stay in your home until we got power again. That was just one of many great things that Wally will be rewarded for in Heaven.
May God bless you with many great memories of your life with Wally.

Walter was a laugh to everyone. He Loved Life, his family and his children. He would come to the insurance office is Alvarado talking about his Wife Nancy, and Love of his Life his Grandchildren.
He will be missed and Loved by everyone.
