I worked with Mr. D at Hood County Jail and he was always laughing, or talking about how much he loves his family and golf. I will miss him greatly. Well respected and honored, I am glad I had the honor to work with him.

Well uncle i am sorry i didnt call or visit with you more,i am glad your not suffereing & your finally at peace.i miss you already, tell my daddy i miss him,love him,Aunt Cynthia words cannot decribe what your feeling,i use to be so scared of death but not so much as i get older,i will get to see my mom and dad again ..i am no hurry but when god takes me i am ready i am deeply sorry for your loss but we will get to see him again on the other side love yall

Still remember night my husband had hearattack Wendell came to hospital late at night and stayed with me till family got there. Wendell will be missed enjoyed his company many an afternoon just hanging out in yard while I was tinkering on boat or truck. Rest in peace.

Good Bless you Wendell. It's so sad to hear you are gone. Prayers to your family. I have some cherished memories as a child growing up as next door neighbors back in the 70's, my dad and you going fishing, your dog named Sugar, the birth of your first daughter, just to name a few. My heart is with your family and I wish them peace thru this difficult time.
