Worthem Merriman Sr.

Worthem Merriman, Sr., passed away Friday, January 13, 2006 at Northshore Regional Medical Center due to complications from Alzheimer's disease. Son of the late Leonard and Grace Merriman, Sr. Husband of the late Lorena Lewis Merriman. Father of Tunisia Crockett of Atlanta, GA., Sheri Adams of Atlanta, GA., Gregory Merriman Sr. of Franklin, LA., and the late Worthem Merriman, Jr. Brother of Clara Patterson, Florestine Jalvia, Rebecca Gorman, and the late Cornelius Merriman and Leonard Merriman, Jr. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, and a host of relatives and friends. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service at LAKE LAWN METAIRIE FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. (in Metairie Cemetery) on Wednesday, January 18, 2006 at 4:00PM. Interment will be private. Visitation on Wednesday from 3:00PM until service time.
