Yarra you were a great friend and I know you are looking down on us. I will always remember you and your smile. You were a great friend and person, God just called you home but someday we will all be there together.

Yara, I meant every word in that poem and yet, there's still so much more. You know, after prom in 2000, you turned on a light in my head. That you meant so much to me. And i thought you'd never go away... But God said it was time... Yeah, we dont agree with it...but as sad and hurt as it makes me and all of us, we got to let go. Rest in Peace Yara.....

Girl, how is it that you could just go?

We're still thunderstruck like we still don't know

The acts of one just took your life away

Leaving behind confusion and dismay.

Your parents brought to this earth a wonderful child

Yara, you were always peaceful, never wild

And with a caring brother who was always at your side

In him, you could trust and confide.

But through our eyes, your many friends

We saw your life beginning, not ready to end

As I sit here thinking, your death wasn't by choice

A tear trickles down my cheek, my eyes become moist

To hundreds of people, you brought joy and happiness

You were definitely a gift by God that was blessed

Yara, in my thoughts you will always be alive, never deceased

But now you're with God. May you rest in peace.
