Adel ELIAN Obituary
Born in Lebanon in 1936 and became a proud Canadian in 1972. Past away peacefully on January 3, 2015. He leaves behind his wife, Donna (Auger), his children, Michael (Chantal) and Kelly (Bobby) and his beloved grandson, Emmanuel. Also left to mourn him are his brother, Ghassan (Pat), his sisters, Wafaa' (Zouheir) and Sanaa' (Hanna), his mother-in-law, Georgette Auger, his brothers-in-law, Andrew (Janice) and Peter (Susan), his uncle, George Zakem (Souhaila), his aunt, Nawal Ghosn (Elias) as well as many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. A man who loved people, he was always ready to lend a hand to those in need. Guided by his strong and steadfast faith, he put up a good fight and when it was time, he surrendered himself into God's loving hands. The family extends its sincerest gratitude to the doctors, nurses and staff at the Montreal General Hospital for their exceptional care and compassion, especially those in the Palliative Care Unit. Visitation will be held on Monday, January 5, 2015 from 5-9 p.m. at Urgel Bourgie, 1255 Beaumont, Montreal, Quebec and Tuesday, January 6, 2015 from 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at St. George Church, 555 Jean Talon East, Montreal, Quebec. Funeral Service to be held on Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at 12 noon with Visitation from 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. George Church or to the Cedar's Cancer Institute.
