Grandpa,
Think of you daily, I miss you daily, I try not to cry, but it is hard. You have been a great friend when I needed one. You were my father, grandfather, and friend. You will always be missed.. You taught me a lot. I thank you for being the best grandfather any young girl could ask for. I thank you for stepping in and filling that void in my life. I thank you for teaching me the Word of God. I thank you for showing me the right way. I will see you again. You keep my spot warm. Miss you and will always love you.

Grandpa,
I didn't get the chance to say "GOODBYE." I wasn't able to visit with you during your last moments, but I did get the one last time to say I LOVE YOU. I always have, and I always will. I'm still numb to your passing, and I miss you already. It's so hard to put in words ...
You will always be Grandpa, and I will always be your "Sarge"
I salute the heavens, knowing that is where you are.
Life and death, they are one in the same,
One causes happiness, one causes pain,
As sorrow overcomes me, its hard to maintain,
But instead of sad you left ..
I'm just happy that you came.
Sir yes SIR!!

To the family of Amos Joseph Flewellen. It was with deep feelings of sympathy that I read in the Dispatch of his death. I retired from the Delaware Post Office in 1985 and had worked on assignment to Col.P.O. at Beechwold Sta. inspecting city routes where I met and worked with him. He was a fine man.

Continued prayers will be lifted for your family; both immediate and extended.
Although our families have been linked for 40+ years, I personally will cherish precious memories of most recent. Each year when the "Malone Girls" visited Wayne Avenue Church of God celebrating our daddy in honor of Father's Day, Bro. Flewellen would make it clear that he too looked forward to his "annual Father's Day hug!"
Secondly, he often shared in our Wednesday Noon Bible Study at First Church of God. On the occasions when I didn't get near him, if he caught my eye, he'd flash his what I called his "Famous Amos" smile and give me a slight nod.
Having experienced the painful loss of a beloved parent, I can assure you that God will strengthen you through the days that lie ahead.
Peace and Comfort to you and yours...

To the family of Mr Amos
I know that when Jesus comes back Mr. Amos will be one of the chosen ones. He always talked to us at National City about the love of Jesus Christ and God. I appreciated the that. He was a good servant. God bless you and keep you.
