I met Amy as one of her DARE role models. She provided me with a wonderful opportunity to practice public speaking in the the UA schools, which had quite an impact on my life path. I became a school teacher. And I married the person who became the community relations officer after her service. It makes me smile to know that even before I met my husband he had flipped past my name in Amy's old rolladex. Years later, Amy and I met at Irish dancing lessons that both her beloved granddaughter and my daughter were enrolled in. How I loved sitting with her and chatting. I can hear her voice and see her smile. I will miss her.

I am so very sorry to hear about Amy. She always had such a big smile, a great laugh! and a wonderfully bubbly personality in good ole' Grandview HS days. So sad to lose another classmate from the GREAT class of '73.

We have lost a truly wonderful person - I, too, worked with Amy and she was a delight. She fought a long battle, and was an example for all who struggle. She will be missed.

To Paul and all the Kellers: I was able to sit with Amy last Saturday night and just hold her hand. I feel privileged to have had that time with her. Not to mention the 24 yrs she was my sister-in-law. I count myself blessed for having those God given opportunities. I am so sorry for your loss.

It is with a very heavy heart that I send loving condolences to Amy's family and other friends. I worked with her at UAPL and she was a shining light at the library for children and adults alike. I feel blessed to have gotten to work with her and to call her my friend.
