My condolences goes to Mr. Sharp's family. Mr Sharp gave me my first break as a bartender at club 504, when I first meet him oh god I was terrified by him because he was so serious but once I got to know him he was such a nice, loving person, it was a pleasure working for him.. A runned into him a couple of years ago he was so happy to see me and gave me a big smile. I am glad I got to meet him. You will be missed Mr. Sharp

Tony, my brother,friend,ex-boss, confidante. Words cannot express the sorrow I felt in my heart when I learned of your passing. When I think of all the joy we shared, all the laughs, all of the serious talks you had with me about life. Tony, I will miss you very, very, very, much. Thanks for the opportunity you gave me to manage with you and your brother at Touche, and the fun we had at Phase II. You will always have a place in my heart. Tony, I will see you at the crossroads. To his entire family: Remember earth has no sorrow that heaven cannot heal
May you rest in heavenly peace.

Tony,
Your appreciation of friendship, your ability to inspire, and mentor others is what I saw as the jewel of your spirit and soul. You exemplified a true entrepreneur, the rages to riches, but more importantly for me a true friend. Through the ups and downs you kept your smile and joy, which everyone seems to remember so well. You and your works touched so many souls in a personal way. In heaven may God bless you. You will be missed but not forgotten.
Herb,
May God bless you too!! You and Tony had an undeniable friendship, brotherhood, and bond. I know/feel that God and Tony both are still here for you. I feel for you and pray for you, that God makes this an easy transition for you. If I can help in anyway let me.

Earth has no sorrow that heaven cannot heal. To the family of Tony I say to each of you, be strong in the lord and in the power of his might. It is with great sadness that I hear of Tony’s very premature death. I graduated from Mifflin with Tony and though I have not seen him for several years he has and always will be a brother that I admired. Tony was voted Most Likely to Succeed. From what I have heard from friends and loved ones, He didn't disappoint.

January 28, 2008

Erik may your sadness turn to joy, the joy of knowing that your Dad is at peace and in the arms of his first father. Noone is ever prepared to loose a parent but know that God makes no mistakes and sent his eternal Angels down from Heaven to welcome your Dad home where there is no more pain, no more sufferering and everyday is filled with joy. Live each day as though it where your last and continue to lean on Gods understanding. Corny! I love you and through your strength and faith in God you will be that rock for Erik. Acknowledge "Him" and he shall Direct your paths. Sir is in school but has cried with Erik throughout this sad time and wants Erik to know that he loves him and will always be there. Love you both.

January 28, 2008

To my dearest cousins.
As I sat at the funeral for Tony, I couldn't help but to think about the jewels he would drop on me on those rare occasions that we saw each other. At our last family reunion in Columbus, Tony was in a reflective mood, perhaps knowing what lay ahead. He told me, "Jacqui family is everything, add to the legacy of the Huckabee's and stand by your family no matter what". I was at the time deciding if I wanted to move out of Ohio and away from my parents. Tony told me to stay and not become self-centered in my "quest". He put God first and family second. As I listened to those who came to speak, I realized he touched every person in just the right way. Saying to us what we needed to hear at that moment. That was Tony's gift to me. I will cherish his memory and keep the legacy of our family strong and everlasting. Rest in peace, be happy and strong.
Love,
Cousin Jacqueline Black

Mrs. Sharp, Pam, Herb and Tony's Son's and Extended Family,

No words can express how I know you are feeling. We have experienced the loss of Tony and Little Herb in such close proximity. These are blows that can shake us to our very core. But, know that just as Tony held the hand of my beloved only son as he passed over, Little Herb was standing with open arms to greet his uncle as he transitioned over and our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ looked over them smiling. I can see them now! I'm sure the reunion of our combined families is something to behold!
My sincere wish is for healing, peace, love and abundance for each of you. You know I am here for you, no matter what the hour.

Love Always,

Laura

January 26, 2008

We are never prepared for these times. We take what we are given in this life and try to make the most of the hand we're dealt. No one embraced that more enthusiastically than Tony.

Tony helped me to see what I needed to see and showed me what I didn't always want to see. He helped make me into the person I am today and I will always be thankful to him for it... I just wished he could have stayed a little longer and shown me a little more!

I see you Tony dancing your way home. Smiling upon us and shining your light. I'll remember you always and I too will come dancing home one day!

For now and tomorrow, Rolonda (your lil' cuz)

A Prayer for Tony
God our Father,
Your power brings us to birth,
your providence guides our lives,
and by your command we return to dust.

Lord, Tony died but still lives in your presence,
his lives change but do not end.
I pray in hope for my family,
relatives and friends,
and for all the dead known to you alone.

Tony is in the company with Christ,
He has died and now lives,
may he rejoice in your kingdom,
where all his tears are wiped away.
Unite us together again in one family,
to sing your praise forever and ever.

Crystal Peck Thomas

January 25, 2008

When you have know someone for 36 plus years and they are suddenly gone you realize what a joy it was to have known them. I was there when Tony got the scar in the 8th grade at Holy Rosary, graduated with him from Mifflin, went to OSU and lived in Dayton at the same time. I just could not get away from him. We had grown from young children to adults and I was always proud of his accomplishments although I may not have said it. He was always ambitious even as a young man, a great brother, family man and son. I'll miss him. Tony was silly at times and could be very serious, sometimes all in the same minute. He will suffer no more. I was able to offer encouragement but it was too late. He was so strong but hid his illness well.
They say you never know how much you miss someone until they are gone. Now I do. God Bless...The Peck Family
