Obituary published on Legacy.com by Clark Funeral Home - Neosho on Apr. 20, 2026.
David Leon Sharp, 59, of Neosho, Missouri, passed away on April 18, 2026, after a courageous battle with cancer.

He was born on February 11, 1967, in Joplin, Missouri, to Daniel L. Sharp and Martha E. Sharp. David graduated from Neosho High School with the Class of 1985 and continued his education at Missouri Southern State University. During his time at MSSU, he formed a strong brotherhood and lasting friendships as a member of the Sigma Nu-lota Epsilon Chapter Fraternity. He served in various positions, including chapter commander.

David spent many years working in transportation and most recently was employed with Osborn Paper Company where he worked inside sales.

David was a family man and was passionate about spending time with his children and grandchildren. He also had deep appreciation for the outdoors. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and playing golf. Above all, he was a devoted Papa and St. Louis Cardinals fan!

He is survived by his life partner and companion, Tisha Bowman of Neosho; his daughter Torre Vincent and husband, Dustin of Diamond, Missouri, his son Zach Sharp and girlfriend Gracie Shankle of Stark City, Missouri, and daughter Lindsey Bowman and her fiancé, John Olds; and his three grandsons, Brock Vincent, Lane Vincent, and Gus Vincent. He is also survived by his brother, Larry Sharp and wife Sherry of Bloomington, Illinois; his sister, Linda Sharp and her husband, David Niebur of Joplin, Missouri; and his brother-in-law, Bill Boyer and wife Eddylina of Stark City, Missouri, along with numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father; also by the mother of his children, Lisa Sharp.

Friends may call at Clark Funeral Home from 9:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. on Friday, April 24, 2026 to pay their respects.
