Barbara Buchholz Obituary

Buchholz, Barbara A
Barbara A Buchholz finished her trip on Wednesday, April 28, 2021. She started her journey on January 21, 1938. Along the way she met several people and made numerous friends. It started with the first people she met, Ted (Albert) and Dorothy (Mouser) Beck. Along with Dorothy (Mike, Doug, and Rob) and later David (Ginger, Jon, and Andrea). She worked at several places. One being Western Electric where she met Jan and Brent Augustine, Brenda and Bob Stiff, and Jenny Wollard. Another career she embarked on after starting her family Steven (Dawn, Richard, Hope and Hunter) and Todd (Tina, Luke, Elliana, and Bethany) was Merrill Publishing (McGraw Hill) where she retired over 30 years later. She also had a large special place in her heart for Zion Lutheran Evangelical Church. Any and everyone knew that was her church and the congregation was her extended family (whether they wanted or knew it or not!). She had some very special friends in the Ladies of Zion. Although she was with us for 83 years, we know it was not long enough for us, but for her she is now singing and rejoicing with Jesus, her family and friends that have gone before. She has no cares, no pain and no bills! So we can not be sad. She is on the best vacation of her life! Funeral service will be held at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, 766 S. High St., Columbus, OH 43206, July 10, 2021 at 10am.

So sorry for your loss. I went to grade school with Barbara...and she was a real sweetheart/ I saw her a few year ago...when I had a Smith Road 8th grade reunion. Again, so sorry for your loss and may God bless you and your families! Ray
