Dear Nemec family,
Bruce and I were classmates at Abington High class of 1967. Every summer he would make a special trip to my Uncle George's Candy store in Ocean City just to say hello. I always thought of him as a friend and a super nice guy. My heart and prayers are with you. May God bless you and hold you in the palm of his hand.
Sincerely,

Neva (Hunter) Higgins

Bruce was one of my best friends and teammates at Abington. We were in the same homeroom for three years and survived Coach Shumock. We spent great times in Ocean City and I became friends with his brother Joel. Bruce had a great sence of humor and loved life. I also believe that Bruce's dad and my father went to school together. He will be greatly missed and hope for the best for his family.

Bruce and I had reconnected in the last few years. We were high school friends and football teammates. We shared the challenges and joys of teenage years and he was great support.
