Tomorrow is a happy day & a very sad day for me, so many memories come flooding thur my mine, that little boy getting off the plane in Memphis to visit, all the awesome times together, you always had a smile on your face & made me wonder what you were thinking. Miss you not only on this day or tomorrow, but always in my heart. Sure your friends have told you but duck season hasn't been very good last couple of years, but
so glad Matt & the guys still come, we know your watching from above& getting some good laughs. Always in our hearts.

April 20, 2021

Always think about you on this day every year.

April 16, 2020

Always on our heart, but this time of year makes our heart so heavy, but our prayer is knowing we will meet again when our journey ends & till that day our memories we hang on to fiercely.

April 30, 2019

Bryan,
It is so hard to believe how much time has passed since I've seen your face or heard your voice. We will miss you always.

April 24, 2019

The years have gone by, but your always on our heart & mind. I see you as that little guy getting off the plane, then as that young man coming for a few days for hunting. So thankful for all those precious memories.

Bryan,

Next weekend your life will be celebrated once again by family, friends, and co-workers from all over the country at the 4th Annual Bryan Cross Golf Outing. Each year the outing has grown in number attesting to the fact that you are still touching many lives through those still here. AND, this will be the very first golf outing for your wonderful first nephew, Jude Bryan.

My love for you never changes...I miss you so. Again, thanks for the sunbeams; keep them coming.

Bryan,
You are remembered by so many, you touched many a life in way's I'm sure you were not even aware of. The 2nd Golf 'Open" this past weekend in your honor was just a witness to your hand on each one
of our lives.
Thanks for the Rainbow, it brought great peace to my heart. Miss you so much, but sweet, sweet memories are mingled in with the tears.

Bryan,

Just got home from visiting with your parents, Matthew, Aunt Brenda, and Jonathon. We were all in Greenville this weekend because of the 2nd Annual Bryan Cross "Open." You are remembered by so many loved ones. The impact you have had on all these friends/colleagues/family members is awesome. There was even a rainbow the day of the outing! I will always miss you dearly...but finally the memories bring smiles more often then tears.

Love you very much!

January 15, 2008

Bryan, I'm sorry it has taken me so long to write. It's not because I didn't care, but because I could not come to terms with everything. You were a great friend to everyone you ever met and there are so many things I miss. There are so many things I never got a chance to say to you. I miss you so much considering it has been 2 years in April. Despite everything, you were my best friend. You always knew what to say and when to say it. But most of all I will miss your many smirks, grins and smiles! You were the strength for so many. You will always live on in our memories and best of all, hearts. With all my love, I hope you are at peace.

August 29, 2007

Cross,
You have been on my mind so much lately, but I am not sure why. Typically when this happens, I call someone up to ttell them that I have been thinking of them. I miss you and your grin.

June 25, 2007

I'm sorry it took losing you for me to wake up. I think about you everyday and alternately smile and want to slap you silly. I hope you've found the peace you so desperately wanted. I miss you.

I am thinking about you on your birthday & I miss you.

April 20, 2007

Bryan Lee,

The day after you left us, you sent a sunbeam to let me know you were okay. Yesterday as we drew closer to the one year anniversary of your going to your "ultimate" home, you again sent a sunbeam to me saying you were okay and doing well.

There are still times when my breath is sucked from my body as a result of my remembering I will not see you again in this life.

I miss you. Keep sending those well-timed sunbeams! They do help with the healing.

My love,

Aunt Becki

Cross-I miss you so very much. Can't wait to take part in the Clark Family Golf Outing this year to honor you, and remember you with your friends and family. I have a picture of you in my house I look at everyday. It's from when you and Jake came to Perry County to surprise me for my birthday. We are hugging each other and someone just so happend to snap a shot of us. I want so badly to be able to wrap my arms around you again and give you a hug, which came to be common place everytime we got to see each other. The memories we shared are so very many and I thank god for the opportunity to have know such a wonderful human being. Miss you everyday-Love Meg

Dear Bryan, Yesterday was the last day for the duck hunters, & it was a fair season, at least there were some ducks to be seen this year. You are so missed. You enjoyed it all so much.I know you watched over all that went on over the river during this season but our loss of you was ever present.

Bryan, You are still in my life each day in thoughts, prayers, laughing and/or crying. And, of course, memories: babysitting, bug boxes, bumper boats, canoe rides, oversized ball caps, Grampa's pipe, "go run around the house 10 times," Erie Blades, Panama Rocks, school pictures, family reunions, dancing at my wedding. You will never be far from me, never forgotten; you are very special.

Love, Aunt Becki

September 19, 2006

I don't even have words to describe how I feel. 5 months tomorrow and not a day goes by that I don't think about you all the time. I lay there at night and just think for hours sometimes. You were the biggest person in my life, and I have found it hard to manage to try and fill that void, even thoug I know that can never be possible. I hate the moments when something in my life happens now because you were the first person I would call to tell or ask advice and I still think of you when those moments arise. I don't mind the pain so much anymore because after time it becomes part of you and you get use to it. I have even taken up a new hobby that I believe you would be quite impressed with, and something that I have told no one else and really don't with to speak of it. You live inside of me now and I know that. Everything you ever showed me or taught me I now use. I love you, and miss you....your always with me.

Bryan was so special. Without personally giving birth, Bryan was the closest baby/child I ever had in my life. I pray for Merry Lee and Danny and Matthew and Cassy and the "four" as they must go on. Never a day will go by that I don't think of Bryan...and especially this first month anniversary of his going home to be with our Lord.

May 16, 2006

To the Cross family, your son/brother was truly one of a kind. He could move seamlessly in many crowds; It didn't matter who you were...Bryan could somehow relate to almost anyone. He had more friends than anyone I've known and could make you laugh on your worst days. I won't be able to listen to a Beatles record without thinking of him. Your loss is huge and I hope the kind words of these postings bring some solace.

Bryan: It is hard to find the words to say right now, but I think there will be more to say as time goes on. I want you to know that I have always looked up to you as an older brother, and it is hard to imagine how different my life is going to be without you here. We have been through a lot together over the years and I am always so proud to call you my friend. I think a lot of people feel that way about you. You were always there for me and I am so grateful that I was able to have you in my life as long as I did. I will miss you so much, and just know that I love you and you will forever be in my heart as a great person and a great friend.

Love,

To Bryan's Family & friends, I only knew Bryan by his voice, I worked closely with him for almost a year as his counterpart at Qwest Communications. On a great day we only talked for a few minutes on the bad days of the project it may be hours. We chatted about family, school and all that was going on in our lives. I felt like I had a younger brother making his way through his 20's. I will always keep him in my heart and prayers. I know that when we meet again he will always have a kind word for all of us. He will have a smile on his face.

To the Cross Family-For several years it was my pleasure to work with Bryan. Whenever I called him, we always ended up “visiting”, and I counted him as a friend as well as a co-worker. I cannot imagine the loss you are feeling. I hope it is a comfort to know how much people liked him, and how much he is missed.

I can still hear Bryan’s voice, and I will never forget him.

Bryan was more than just a co-worker, he was a dear friend whom I'll always remember as one of the most sincere and genuine people I've ever known. I'll never forget some the fun times we had... the two camping trips to the Red River Gorge in Kentucky (who can forget those lovely speeding tickets we all got); the two whitewater rafting adventures of the Upper Gully in West Virginia (when Bryan stretched the truth just a tad and told them we were all experienced rafters...boy, our river guides weren't very happy with us when they found out a little too late that was a lie :o); or all of us sitting in my living room as my brother gave Bryan and Herbie there first tattoos. ...Just a select few of the memories that always bring a grin to my face and will forever hold a special place in my heart. Words can't express how much he'll be missed.
