Carrie was a bright and fun person. Every time I saw her, she had a smile on her face. I will never get the fun times we had at Billy's house and when Billy accidentally threw a dart in her foot. I do wish she was still here. When they say "gone too soon", they were talking about Carrie.

Carrie worked for me both at Discover Card and at Unisource. She was a very hard worker, never letting up to do the job the right way every time. Her energy and enthusiasm was unmatched by many, her love of her children and family inspired me, her smile was infectious and laughter contagious. May God richly bless you all during this time and may He hold Carrie closely to his heart. - Jeff Cundiff

My heart felt condolences go out to the Hoffman and Duncan families during this difficult time. I attended middle and high school with Carrie and was in the marching band with her at Franklin Heights. As others have mentioned, I remember her bright smile and upbeat personality. Although the pain is strong now, we know that she is in a far better place. Each day as the sun rises, think of her warm smile as she looks down on you from Heaven. May God grant you strength and peace during this time.

Carrie was my Sister Kelley's best friend for about 35 years. Kelley kept us all informed of Carrie's struggle and her courageous fight to live for her children and plan their future, should she not be able to be a part of it. Carrie was a beautiful person and I am sure her strength will live on in her children. Please know that your family is in the hearts and prayers of many. Let it bring comfort for you to know that she is no longer suffering and you will be reunited one day. Chris Donahue Munday and family

Be Still
Be still like the grass on a melancholy summer day
Be still like desert shrub.
Be calm and you will hear your loved one speak, in the stillness, in the calm, their love resounds.
If you are still this promise I make, you will hear the voice of your loved one helping you along your way.

I have nothing but fond memories of Carrie. We used to hang out at the Russell household when she had a crush on Billy. Carrie was always so kind and thoughtful, never raised her voice and was a great friend. Even when Billy threw a dart in her foot by accident, she never got upset or mad. Heaven is a lot better place now that they have a new angel, and I will sorely miss Carrie.
