Catherine Biega Obituary

BIEGA Catherine Biega, age 73, of Gahanna, died Tuesday, May 17, 2005 at her home. She was a member of St. Matthew the Apostle Catholic Church. She enjoyed her grandchildren, shopping and bingo. Preceded in death by her sisters Renee Sayers and Dorothy Kolesky. She is survived by husband of 48 years, Joseph F. Biega; son, Joseph T. (Charmaine) Biega of Canal Winchester; daughters, Kathryn Ann (Robert E.) Murch, Nancy Louise (Chris A.) Carter of Galena, Carol Lynne (John) Tiberio of Gahanna; grandchildren, Kayleigh and Nick Murch, Cassie and C.J. Carter, Joey and Katie Biega and Cole Tiberio; brothers, Leon (Carole) Tomalski and Edward (Carol) Tomalski; nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST CHAPEL, 1051 East Johnstown Road, Gahanna, where Wake Service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Thursday. Funeral Mass Friday, May 20, 2005, 12 Noon at St. Matthew Catholic Church, 807 Havens Corners Road, Gahanna, with father Paul Noble, Celebrant. Entombment in Holy Cross Cemetery. Contributions may be made to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, 134 Northwoods Blvd., Columbus, OH 43235 in her memory. Visit www.schoedinger.com to extend condolences.
