Catherine Wolfe Obituary
1964 - 2017
Catherine J. "Cathy" (Waldren) Wolfe, age 53, passed away surrounded by her family on Saturday, October 21, 2017 at Mt. Carmel Medical Center. Cathy was born on September 14, 1964 in Columbus, Ohio. She graduated from Franklin Heights High School. Cathy has been working in housekeeping at Mt. Carmel for over 10 years. Cathy will be remembered for caring for others before herself. She loved her family dearly. Preceded in death by her mother Gloria Waldren, granddaughter Chloie Wolfe and father of her children, Christopher Wolfe. Survived by her daughters, Carrie and Cassandra Wolfe; grandsons, G'onni Wolfe and Deron Long Jr.; siblings, Wallace (Pat) Rushin, Constance (Daniel) Robinson, Christine Mattox, Thomas Rushin and Lee Waldren; many nieces and nephews. A memorial service honoring Cathy's life will be held 11 am on Friday, October 27, 2017 at St. John Lutheran Church, 2745 W. Broad St., Columbus, OH 43204. Inurnment to follow at Glen Rest Memorial Estate. Memorial contributions can be made to her family to assist with expenses. Arrangements entrusted to HOPE & HEART FUNERAL HOME by SCHOEDINGER, 3030 W. I loved having the opportunity to have met Cathy while working with her in housekeeping years ago! She was such a great person and I loved working with her. Its been years since we have worked in the same department, but I occasionally got the opportunity to see her at work. I loved when I would see her in the cafeteria around breakfast time, and we would give each other the biggest of hugs. I'll always remember your laugh Cathy!!RIP Cathy! XOXO
