Chad Clay Obituary

CLAY Chad Aaron Clay, age 26, of Lucas, was killed at 4:16 p.m. Tuesday, May 31, 2005 as the result of a vehicle accident in Morrow County near Galion, Oh. Born March 25, 1979 in Wheeling, W.Va., he was a son of Bruce A. and Patricia G. Anderson Clay of 36325 Cadiz-Piedmont Road, Cadiz. Chad was an employee of Holt of Ohio in Columbus which is now Ohio Cat. Surviving are his parents; brother, Shon (Denise) Clay of Moorefield; sister, Amy (Don) Jones of Freeport; 2 grandmothers, Virginia Clay of Piedmont and Lois Johnson of Cadiz; 2 nieces, Jalyn Jones and Emi Jones; and a nephew, Dalton Clay. Service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, June 6, 2005 in Nottingham Presbyterian Church with Pastor Jim McConnell officiating. Burial will follow in Nottingham Cemetery. Friends will be received at KOCH FUNERAL HOME, 216 S. High St., Freeport on Sunday, June 5 from 12Noon-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, a college fund has been set up for Chad's nieces and nephews. Contributions may be made to this fund in care of Connie Bean, P.O. Box 3, Piedmont, Oh. 43983.
