To Jeff, Tyler and Chari's family, I offer my deepest condolences. I had the privilege to mentor Chari several years ago, at work. I was amazed at the optimistic attitude she displayed, despite her illness. I was blown away. I now know Chari is with God the Most High and his Son, Christ Jesus, for Chari was a true saint. I will pray for your family during this difficult time.

Chari had contagious optimism even though she knew her time was limited. She fought a hard fight and never gave up. I remember after one staff meeing in 2011 she was upset because we were talking about 2015 budgets and she didnt know if she would be with around then. It changed my perspective. She lived every day to the fullest.

Chari was so proud of her son, her family, her job. To say she was an overachiever would be an understatement. Everything she did she gave it her all. So many lessons, such a joy to know. I am so saddened by her passing. She will always hold a special place in my heart. It is comforting to know she got to see Tyler graduate - that was her biggest dream, and she got to live it (thanks to Tyler, of course!).

Rest in peace my friend. Your pain is over. You are loved and missed by many that you left behind. ''Til we meet again my friend, peace. I miss you - and your cooking stories - already.

Her family was the highlight of her life and I enjoyed all the stories about each person. Her love and kindness is endless and carries on through those lives that she has touched.
