Charles Imber Obituary

IMBER Charles A. Imber, age 90, of Columbus, peacefully passed away April 23, 2012. He was born to the late George and Mary Ann Imber on July 20, 1921 in Berwick, OH. Charles was an Army veteran who served in WWII. He was one of the founding members of St. Timothy Parish. He enjoyed spending time with his family and get-togethers. Charlie was an avid Ohio State University Fan and a football season-ticket holder for 60 years. Charles was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Robert Imber. He is survived by his loving wife, Kay Imber; his children, David C. Imber, Jane A. Imber, and Richard E. Imber; his sister, Doris (Bob) Barringer; and numerous loving extended-family members. A Memorial Service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at the St. Timothy Catholic Church, 1088 Thomas Lane, Columbus, OH 43220. The family will receive friends from 3-7 p.m. on Tuesday, May 1, 2012 at the SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST CHAPEL, 1740 Zollinger Rd. Father Timothy Hayes officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Charlie's memory may be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association, 500 W Wilson Bridge Rd., #105, Worthington, OH 43085.
