Charles Ivery Obituary

IVERY, Sr. Charles Henry Ivery, Sr. (Chuck), age 51, Friday, January 13, 2006 at the O.S.U. East Hospital. He attended and graduated as Valedictorian from West High School Class of 72. A U.S. Army and Air Force Veteran. Retired employee of the U.S. Post Office. Preceded in death by his parents Betty and Lewis Ivery, Sr., maternal grandparents Elizabeth and Lester Johnson, Jr., paternal grandparents Gussie and John Ivery, brother Lewis Ivery "Pudge", aunt Helen Ivery. He leaves to mourn his passing, his devoted companion, Sylvia K. Bates; sons, Charles, Jr. (Diane) and Chazz Ivery; daughters, Latoya Galloway, Tanya Johnston and Charmayne Ivery; 13 grandchildren; brothers, Harold (Kathy), Lawrence Gregory, Scott and Jerry Ivery; sisters, Stephanie Ivery, Lisa (Tyrone) Stevens; uncles, Edward (Virginia) Ivery, Fred Johnson and Tracy Williams; aunts, Wilma Booker, Dorothy Dawkins, Lorene (Nathaniel) Kelly, Alma, Isabelle and Freda Ivery; many cousins and friends; special friends, Joyce Womack, Gail Harrison. Funeral 12Noon Friday, January 20, 2006 at the Stewart Memorial C.M.E. Church, 60 S. Cypress Ave. Rev. Willie Owens, Officiant. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the time of service. Interment Fairview Memorial Park, Delaware, Oh. Arrangements by C.D. WHITE & SON FUNERAL HOME, 1217 Mt. Vernon Ave.
