I'm saddened at the passing of Buck, my cousin, our mothers having been sisters. Although I probably saw less of Buck than some of his brothers, I have fond memories, from the time in WWII that he was a sailor and went through boot camp in the Chicago area where my parents then lived to visits to the farm near Glenford, Ohio where he and Lois lived and raised there family. A good man. Many have been enriched by Buck's life and he leaves behind an admirable legacy of people who lives have been positively touched by him. RIP, Buck.

It doesnt' seem like that long since summer meant a chance to go play horseshoes at the back of Buck's place, picnic meals with evey Perry, and a bunch of others. Nice people, good work being done, a whole generation of us made better by contact with Buck, and his family.

Uncle Buck % Aunt Lois were always great to me as a child. I loved going to the State Fair and seeing Buck. And I've still got the 50 cent piece Uncle Buck.I always enjoyed running acrossed a paper or article of his when I was in college.I will miss him.

I did not know Max as well as other "Perry Boys", but I always enjoyed being with him and Lois at the few gatherings of cousins it was my privilege to attend.
My sympathy and love go out to his immediate family and to the remaining sons of my Aunt Claudia and Mr. Perry. (I called him Uncle Elmore)

I,ve always known him as "Uncle Buck". I have many fond memories of him and the lesons he taught me about livestock. He showed me how to tell the difference between a Berkshire and a Hampshire hog and taught me what to look for in different breeds of hogs and cattle. I never paid enough attention to his lessons concerning sheep. I remember watching him build the house next to Mike and Edna Ridenior(?) place. He will be missed very much. Putting up hay in the "Horses Attic" , Groundhog hunting and all of these fond memories will remain with me always.
GOD bless and keep you Uncle Buck, untill we meet again.

My Dad, Tom Perry and Max were so much alike with mannerisms. They labeled everything, (even nails), in their work shops. My brother Larry and I used to spend summers with Gene and Gladys Ann and have great memories of being on the farm. Buck and Lois always welcomed us and our time spent with them will always be cherished.
