Lauren,

You and Christopher were working side-by-side in the Dublin Community Garden this summer, surrounded by sunflowers. I was far away when I saw you, and did not want to disturb you but I will never forget the obvious love you emanated for each other and for the earth. I wish for you the peace of knowing he will be with you always.

Linda,

I'm Brittany Coy's Mother-n-law...and as I have sat here reading all the wonderful entries I was overwhelmed with sadness, not only due to my families own losses of the recent years but because Chris was so young and had so much life ahead of him, however I also felt such joy for you...I can tell your son was one GREAT guy! Feel blessed each and every day for the time your family had with Chris...he is now with our creator and moving on to bigger tasks. Heaven needed this AWESOME angel. RIP Chris and Peace be with you Linda and your family.

Thanks for all the great memories! I remember being dragged to a dozen or so Foot Lockers while we were in MD trying to find a pair of sneakers you saw online that were brown and the same shade as your station wagon lol...Or our late night trips to shop at a 24 hour store while we were out of town attending a meeting. Remember that time wer got lost driving to Philly??? A 4 hour trip took us 7 hrs. :0) But you were always so positive and fun to be around and always saw the light in every situation. You were so much fun! I remember how your face lit up when you told me about Lauren. She made you so happy. I was so happy for you. I will miss you dearly, you were a great friend and an awesome co worker. May you rest in peace knowing how many lives you touched and what a fantastic person you were. I have peace knowing that ther Lord must have realized how much he needed you in heaven. I will never forget you.

God brings so many wonderful gifts into our lives. Our childrer are one of the best gifts given to us.He gives them to us for a short time, but expect us to bring them up to serve him. He will then call them home one by one. On October 19,2009 God called Chris to him and said "Well done good and faithful servent" Your tears will come like a raining day. You will be sad, lonely, hurt, and asking why a great guy was taken away.We will never fully understand why God takes some and others stay. He must have a bigger plan for Chris in Heaven.Christ is that bright and morning star. He lives on so we must too!!! I will miss you Christ. You were the world best nephew!!!You are where we all want to be, In the presents of our Heavenly Father! You will truly be missed! I will not say good-bye,but I will say see you in Heaven!!

I'm still in shock. I spoke with Christopher Monday night for the last 10 min of my shift. "I told him see ya tomorrow" we had a coaching/meeting scheduled @ noon Tuesday. Christopher was an awesome guy...very humble, never complained, got upset or anything. Always a problem solver. One thing that Lauren should know is that he loved her dearly. We spoke of her Monday night. I often told him how much I adored the picture of them that he kept at his desk (facing each other..her finger on his cheek) he would just smile. Lauren may God keep you and hold you close to HIM. The Verizon family will truly miss Christopher.

Remember that time....
On special teams in football you hit that dude so hard you put him out of the game and played the rest of the day with a broken sternum.

Molson got away and we looked all day long just to get home and find your dad on the answering machine because Molson had walked all the way across town and was sitting on your parents front porch.

You introduced me to the Grateful Dead's music.

You talked me into going to my first concert/festival and I was hooked.

We learned to play music together with Vinnie and James. D-Am-C-G over and over.

That night with Jason and his friends where you showed them how to drink the So. Comfort and ended up sleeping in the bathtub.(ha ha)

Halloween in Athens.

The thing everyone remembers from my wedding was you getting down on the dance floor to some Hookah.

How happy you were when you met Lauren.

I could fill pages and pages of memories that I'll treasure for the rest of my life. Through good times and bad you were there for me, always the optimist, always the happy voice saying "hey man its all going to be alright." You will be sorely missed. I picture you at peace with Molson by your side at the great gig in the sky waiting on the rest of us to arrive.
