Claire Cyr Obituary

CYR Claire T. Cyr, age 83, of Worthington, passed away on Sunday, November 6, 2011. She was born to the late Egide and Rachel Janelle on August 2, 1928 in Biddeford, ME. Claire was a loving, supportive, gentle soul who was always devoted to her family. She enjoyed singing, piano music, and sewing. In addition to her parents Claire was preceded in death by her husband Joseph Cyr. She is survived by her loving children and grandchildren, Patricia (Peter) VanLeuven, Theresa (Jerry) Lowery, parents of Jennifer and Jacob and grandchild, Joshua, Joanne Miller survived by Carrie Miller, Carol (Steve) Taylor, Mary Jane (Robert) Boughton, parents of Cameron and Corey, Lorraine (Luigi) Musico, parents of Nicholas and Amanda, Michelle Himes, parent of Allison and Brandon, and Michael (Dawn) Cyr; surviving siblings, Armand, Raymond, Helene, Jean, Marcel, and Priscilla; nieces and nephews. Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, November 9, 2011 at the SCHOEDINGER WORTHINGTON CHAPEL, 6699 N. High Street, Worthington. Funeral Mass 10 a.m. Thursday, November 10, 2011 at St. Michael Catholic Church, 5750 N. High St., Worthington. Prayer service at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday. Father Richard Pendolphi officiating. Interment at Kingwood Memorial Park. Contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 3380 Tremont Rd., Columbus, OH 43221.
