Collin Moore Obituary

Moore, Collin
1991 - 2017
Collin D. Moore, age 26, born May 24, 1991, passed unexpectedly December 27, 2017. Collin was a lifelong resident of Columbus, graduated from Hilliard Darby High School (2009) and attended Columbus State and OSU (Newark). Collin enjoyed working with and being employed by his Uncle Kevin at K.P. Sullivan Builders Inc. of Indiana. He loved being outdoors and sports; especially fishing, snowboarding, paintball and lacrosse. Collin was also a huge IRL-Indy 500 racing and OSU Buckeye football fan. He was very talented, caring, always willing to help and loved kids. All who knew and loved him will miss his quick, broad smile and BIG bear hugs. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Rozzell Sr. and Maggie Moore and Gerard Sr. and Geraldine Sullivan as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Left to cherish his memory are his parents, David and MaryAnn Moore; older brother, Sean Moore and younger brother, Toren Moore; a host of family and friends including his best friends, Andrew Ellert, Pete Bauman, Josh Justice, Justin Cimino, Lindsey Heffron, Amy (Wood) Lisko and Casey Gregory. Memorial service will be held at 1 P.M. Saturday, January 6, 2018 at SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST CHAPEL, 1740 Zollinger Rd., where family will receive friends from 11 A.M. until time of service Saturday. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Northwest Special Olympics, 2140 Atlas St., Columbus, Ohio 43228 in support of Collin's brother Sean and other participating athletes. Vince and I are very sad about your loss. Collin was such a handsome young man and always willing to help us if we needed a strong young back to move something. His smile was contagious and his gentle personality an added plus. I don't think I ever saw him get mad, even though I'm sure he had his moments. He will be missed by us and many more. My prayers are with you. No one can steal your memories so keep them near to your heart and smile when you think of Collin with his big beautiful smile. Love you. Hugs and kisses.
