Dana Gentile Obituary
1962 - 2018
Dana Ann Gentile, 55, of Westerville, Ohio entered into eternal life on June 4, 2018. She was born October 4, 1962 in Ft. Benning, Georgia to Stephen and Patricia (Anderson) Bosway, graduated from Sacred Heart High School in Springfield, Illinois and then went on to earn her business degree from Western Illinois University. Dana currently served as Managing Director at Foreside in Gahanna, Ohio. She will be remembered for her strong dedication to her God, her work and her family. She was preceded in death by her father, Stephen Bosway; Survived by her mother, Patricia Bosway; children Thomas Gentile (fiancé Grace Goulder), Nicholas Gentile (fiancé Alana Balzano) and Anna Gentile; brothers, Stephen (Mary Jo) Bosway, Michael (Elizabeth) Bosway and William (Mary) Bosway; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30am Friday, June 8, 2018 at St. Paul Catholic Church, 313 N. State St., Westerville, OH 43082, Fr. Charlie Klinger, Celebrant. It was important to Dana that all of her children attend Catholic schools, so it is fitting that in lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to St. Francis DeSales High School, 4212 Karl Rd., Columbus, OH 43224 in her memory. I worked with Dana very briefly in the summer of 1996 when I performed some brief consulting work for BISYS. She was a wonderful person, very caring, and the fact that even from this very brief work encounter she stuck with me all these years and caused me to look her up today shows the positive effect her life had. To her children and family, I am so sorry -- she is in my prayers and Rosaries, and will continue to be remembered well. Requiescat in pace.

I had just learned of Dana's passing, and my deepest sympathies go out to her children and family.
I first met Dana in 1980 at Western. A wonderful, funny and outgoing girl who always had you smiling. I can only imagine what type of mother and wife she had become. I have no doubt of the indelible mark she had left on all who knew her.

Words are hard to find at this time. Both my wife and I have had the honor and pleasure of working with Dana at different times over the last 20 years. I can recall no person whom Ive worked with that was as genuinely as kind and thoughtful person as her. No matter what was occurred at the office, she was the calm sea captain, navigating the ship toward the point off on the distant horizon, steady as she goes. She rejoiced in sharing updates about her kids and their accomplishments over the years. Over the last few years when we had worked at different organizations, I found that on the off-occasion that I was looking for some information, much of it mundane information that she could have easily passed along to others to fulfill, she gladly assisted me for our mutual clients. Our deepest sympathies are extended to Thomas, Nick and Anna, along with the rest of Danas dear family friends and other colleagues. We will always remember you, dearest Dana.

Dear Thomas, Nick & Anna...I met your mom on the first day of preschool for Nick and my son Andy at Central College. Two years later my daughter Kristen went there with Anna. Our paths continued to cross at St. Pauls. I remember going on field trips with your mom, sharing lunch duty and working on the bus schedule at PAD Day with her.
