Alan Gale Bailey was my friend and fraternity brother that shared an experience like no other as we became men on Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Incorporated. He came through during tough times and celebrated the good ones. RIP in Omega Chapter where all good Alpha Brothers go. Roger Holmes Williams

I first met Alan when our family moved to driving park. We hung out a lot as teenagers with his brother Monte and several others in the neighborhood. Alan and I both attended The Ohio State University and we both pledged Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity. He had a great smile and his laugh was contagious. I have very fond memories of Alan and my condolences go to his family.

My condolences to the Bailey family, Al and I were classmates from junior high to college. Fraternity brothers and good friends. Although we had lost touch as we got older he was in my thoughts often and at time our paths would cross. God Bless you Al.

My condolences to the Family of Alan Bailey, a friend that I was introduced to while attending The Ohio State University in the early 1970s. We became friends fast , as we both were residing on the same side of the city, and knew a lot of the same people. He was a good man, dedicated to his family, and a person that one could depend on. His smile and joyful outlook on life will always be included in my memories of our shared experiences.
May his soul rest in eternal Peace. His spirit will be truly missed.

Alan and I went through Fairwood ES, Roosevelt Jr. High, and graduated from South HS together. We also went to church together for a short while. It seems like he was just "always" around. For the family, try to remember that Earth has no sorrow that Heaven cannot heal. I am praying mightily for your strength in The Lord. Lean on Him and He will dry your tears.
