Daniel Maloney Obituary

Maloney Daniel J. Maloney, age 74, of Columbus, died Monday evening, September 16, 2013 at his residence. He was born on October 30, 1938 in Delaware to the late John and Helen Maloney. He was in sales and service at the Old Dutchman Bait Store in Westerville. Member of the Holy Family Catholic Church, Linden Eagles Aerie 2552, Am Vets and Gahanna Moose Lodge. Daniel was a family man and loved spending time with his late wife Dianna and his extended family. He enjoyed NASCAR, fishing, bowling and playing cards, especially poker and euchre. He is survived by mother-in-law, Geraldine Mann of Centerburg; his extended family: Mark (Cathy) Mann of Johnstown, Cathy (Elbie) Swint of Howard, Ginny (Roy) Gray of Centerburg, Don (Teresa) Mann of Cardington, Vivian (Chet) Bullard of Jacksonville, Fl., Penny Murrhhee of Hilliard Fl., Dolly (Shawn) Miller of Delaware; special friends, Rudy Guess and Judy Holsapple. He was preceded in death by his wife Dianna (Mann) Maloney on July 27, 2010, son Tommy Hanshaw. Friends may call Wednesday from 5-8 p.m. at the DeVORE-SNYDER FUNERAL HOME, SR 3 at 61, Sunbury, where service will be held Thursday 10 a.m. and interment will follow in the Fancher Cemetery.
