David Gressle Obituary

GRESSLE David E. Gressle, 72, of Columbus, passed away Tuesday, August 2, 2011 at Riverside Methodist Hospital. He was born June 18, 1939 in Newark, son of the late George and Eugenia Houck Gressle. Dave was also preceded in death by his brother John Gressle. He served in the Navy during the Korean Conflict. Dave was a baker for Tim Horton's, Meijer and Riverside Methodist Hospital. He is survived by his loving wife, Shirley Street Gressle; daughters, Pam Mundew and Pattie (Denver Daniels) Street; granddaughters, Katey and Kari Mundew; brothers, Charles and George Gressle and many other relatives and friends. Visitation will be Friday, August 5, 2011 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME NE CHAPEL, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd., Columbus. Funeral service will be Saturday, August 6, 2011 at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Entombment will be in Kingwood Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to HomeReach Hospice c/o Ohio Health Foundation, 180 E. Broad St., Fl 32, Columbus, OH 43215. Please see website for full obituary. Shirley and Girls We will miss Dave so much. So glad we were able to spend quality time together for the last year.
He was a great Chef and brother in law.
Rip Dave. The battle has ended. You gave it all you had. The pain has retreated. Your with the Lord now. Will meet again one day
