With a prayer for the comfort of David's wonderful wife Meg, and for his faithful Shawn and for his dear neighbors, I too shall miss David's brave presence on this earth. May he rest in eternal peace.

David and his service dog Shawn were steadfast fixtures on Marlyn Drive for so many years. They watched over the area from a place on David's driveway and made their way on short walks through the neighborhood.
We will all be diminished by his loss, but we were strengthened by his unending bravery in facing difficult circumstances and his friendship.
I will miss him.
