I don't believe in death, per se. I think it is a misnomer. We have the wrong idea about it. It's just a waiting period until we can meet up again, but that doesn't take away from the pain and grief that we go through during this separation time. I'm so sorry for the pain that Jamiee, Angie and Bill and Brenda and others are experiencing right now. I pray for their peace and comfort. I know, without a shadow of doubt, that Donna is experiencing great joy and relief at this moment. She is not experiencing pain or sadness or any misery. She occupies space and volume and she is clearly and evidently present "there" as she was "here". We just have to wait until we're all together. Clearly, Donna went ahead to scout things out. :)

I love Donna. She is difficult not to love. Her smile is contagious and her giggle is maddeningly addictive. Also, her euchre game was mean. I have a bright hope that we will all meet up again. That all will be well, because for Donna, it already is.

Much love to her family, who adores her and continues to make sure that she is remembered and loved. xoxo

My wonderful smiling sister-in-law!

My condolences and love to Bill and all of Donna's family. Donna was such a kind, strong, funny, and loving person. I have such fun memories of her at dinners and family gatherings. She listened to everyone and was so patient. I remember her playing pool in my basement with my daughter and my daughter idolizing her because she spent one on one time with her even though she was just a teenager. She always bragged on her daughters and grandbabies! My last memory of her was the Saturday before she passed - laughing, smiling, joking, letting us know she was at peace with God, taking time to comfort my mom, bright eyed and with that ornery glint in her eyes, and putting my daughter at ease. She was loved and will truly be missed!

My wonderful Donna,
You where my rock, the love of my life and the most kind hearted person I've ever known! You leave a huge hole in my heart that will never be able to be filled. But you completed my heart and it will always belong to you. You made me a better man and we went thru a lot together. I think we did pretty good together nothing got us down. I hope that you are at pease and I enjoyed every second of our time together. I will love you for ever and continue to try to be the man you loved. You had many people that you brought joy to here on earth and I'm sure your spreading your joy to those in heaven! I LOVE YOU BABY!!! Forever!

This seems unreal to me that you're not here with me. Mom you have been such a fighter for so long it's so strange to think of you as gone. You would think after a life spent afraid of losing you I would feel more prepared for this. I don't think anyone can ever really prepare themselves for lousing the strongest person & brightest light in their life. Thank you so very much Mom for being your wonderful self, & thank you for always making me feel good about being me. I'm so grateful we had the time to thank each other, to forgive each other & to love each other. Not many people get the chance to prepare for good buy. My heart hurts & I feel like this will never go away. As selfish as this is I'm so grateful you fought for your life & lived in pain for all those years just to be a part of Mine & Angie's life. We are the strong honest & loving people we are because you were there. With all of my heart, I love you Mom.
