Dorothy Few Obituary

FEW Dorothy Darlene Few (nee Tucker), 79, of Reynoldsburg, died December 1, 2010 at her home in Reynoldsburg. She was a much loved wife and mother. She was an RN at St. Ann's Hospital, St. Anthony's Hospital, and after "retirement" worked as at the office of Dr. Samloski. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Jerry Few; sons, Mike (Joan) Few, Dan (Pam) Few, Ken (Doreen) Few; daughters, Pat Dodge (Steve Ruth) and Kathy (Mike) Evans; grandchildren, Sam Dodge, Kyle (Grace) Few, Dustin Few, Jordan Few, Jasper Few, Madeline Few, Shelby Evans, Rachel Few, Emma Few, and Logan Evans. She also leaves behind her dear sister, Ruthie Martin; many nieces, nephews; and her very best friend, Joyce Shivener. Special thanks to Dr. Leslie Laufman and staff for their care through the years and also to her hospice care givers who amazed us with their loving care and kindness at our time of greatest need. The family will receive friends and family Sunday, December 5, 1-3 and 5-7 p.m. at COTNER FUNERAL HOME, 7369 E. Main St. in Reynoldsburg. A service to give thanks for her life will be held on December 6 at 10 a.m. at the funeral home with burial to follow at Glen Rest Cemetery. Dorothy loved flowers but instead requested donations to Reynoldsburg Helping Hands or Mt. Carmel Hospice.
