BARRETT Dwight L. "Bud" Barrett, Jr., age 77, passed away Monday, November 7, 2011 Mt. Carmel East Hospital. Third Degree Knights of Columbus. Member The Church of the Ascension Catholic Church, Johnstown. Attended Aquinas High School. Survived by loving wife and best friend of 57 years, Catherine; children, Dwight L. (Tina) Barrett, III, Debbie (Bruce) Scott, Mary Huntley, Robin (Charles) McDonald, Arleen Barrett, Terri Michael, Sandy Poling, Debbie Cleveland; 14 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; sisters, Sister Mary Elizabeth Barrett, Judy (Howard) Knight; brother, Tom (Ann) Barrett; special friends, Bill and Donna Bolen. Preceded in death by daughter Roberta Jo Barrett, son Larry Myers, grandson Joe Scott, parents Dwight and Marie Barrett. Friends may call Thursday 4-7 p.m., EVANS FUNERAL HOME, 4171 E. Livingston Ave. Funeral mass Friday 10 a.m., Church of the Ascension Catholic Church, 555 S. Main St., Johnstown. Father J.L. Reichert celebrant. We were very sorry to hear of Bud's passing. We enjoyed being around him at at all the birthday parties. He always had a smile on his face. He was just plain lovable. He will be greatly missed. So sorry for your loss Kate, Debbie and Angie.
