Dwight Story Obituary

STORY Dwight H. Story, 88, a longtime Marysville, Ohio businessman and civic leader, died Thursday afternoon, July 19th, at The Gables following an extended illness. A former 30 year employee of Connolly Construction, he built the first mobile home park in Marysville, the first car wash, and later he and his son conducted business selling and servicing snowmobiles, personal watercraft, ATV's and motorcycles. He was elected to the Marysville School Board in 1966 and served for 16 years. Dwight was born June 7, 1919 to the late Earl and Ona Midkiff Story in Meigs County. He was also predeceased by his first wife the former Mary Ruth Marsh, two brothers Wilbur and Earl Story Jr. Survivors include his wife, Doris Feenstra Story; children, Aaron (Patty) Story of Marysville, Delaine (Roger) Stiner of Orlando, FL; step grandchildren, William (Sandra) Feenstra, Charles Feenstra, both of Marysville, Janet Feenstra Ike of Lakewood, CO; 5 grandchildren, 2 step grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren and 6 step-great grandchildren; a sister, Avis Story Evans of Orlando, FL. Calling hours will be held Sunday from 2-5 p.m. at the INGRAM FUNERAL HOME, Marysville, with Masonic services and Elks services to follow. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the Marysville First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Richard Teller officiating. Burial will follow at Oakdale Cemetery with the Union County Honor Guard to provide full military honors. Memorial contributions may be made to the Union County Humane Society, Shrine Hospitals or charity of donors choice. Cards will be available at the funeral home. So sorry for your loss of Dwight. I knew the Story Family of Milford Center and Dwight for a long time. I Will try to make the Elks Services.
If not I know he's at Peace.
