Earl H. "Pete" Caslow Sr.

1935 - 2013

Caslow, Sr. Earl "Pete" H. Caslow, Sr., age 78, died Saturday, November 16, 2013 at Riverside Methodist Hospital. He was born June 4, 1935 to the late Robert C. and Clara B. Caslow. Earl proudly served in the US Navy and the Marine Corp during the Korean Conflict. Earl retired from General Motors where he worked from 1957 until his retirement after 30 years of service in 1987. He was a proud volunteer for the American Red Cross for over 30 years. He was also a member of the American Legion Post #144. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his siblings Mary Virginia Dean, Robert Caslow and Alice Ross, and second wife Florence "Flo" Caslow. Surviving are children, Delana (Les) Pence and Earl (Sue) Caslow, Jr.; grandchildren, Shawn Caslow, Season (Jack "Junior" Dingess) Caslow, Stephanie Carpenter, Sam and Shane Pence, Christopher and Matthew Caslow; great-grandchildren, Shawn, Jr., Austin and Collin Caslow; first wife, Phyllis Caslow; brother, William "Bill" (Louise) Caslow and many nieces and nephews. He will be sadly missed by his pets, Angel and Spotty. Calling hours will take place, Friday, November 22, 2013 from 5-8 p.m. at SCHOEDINGER NORTH CHAPEL, 5554 Karl Road, where a funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, November 23, 2013.
