Elizabeth Jones, age 77, entered into eternal rest on Monday, December 4, 2017. She is preceded in death by parents Norman and Clora Jones, husband Nathaniel Jones, Jr., son Mark Jones, sisters Ossie B. Shaw and Michelle Richardson. Survived by loving family, son, Nathaniel (Qiana) Jones, III; daughters, Lisa (Joe) Bond and Natalie E. Jones; brother, Norman Jones; 9 grandchildren; 2 great- grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Home-going Celebration 11 AM Friday, December 8, 2017 at Cornerstone Pentecostal Church, 2143 Joyce Avenue. Family will receive friends from 10 AM until time of service. Entombment, Franklin Hills Memory Gardens. Arrangements entrusted to SMOOT FUNERAL SERVICES, 4019 E. Livingston Ave., 614-441-1GOD (1463). M.L. Smoot, Director.

Still to this day, the death of my Aunt Liz is very painful and deeply heartbreaking. She was absolutely the greatest person I have ever met. Her voice was so kind, and her spirit so humble. What a loss for all of us, forever. Truly, what a loss.

I met Liz at the phone company and later traveled with her. She was a kind, caring and thoughtful soul and will truly be missed. My deepest sympathy and condolences go out to the family.

A huge pain striked me today, as my aunt passed away. I did not stay in contact with her, but she made my childhood better, with her presence and her love. Mrs. Elizabeth Jones (Aunt Liz), was my mothers sister. She was always the sweetest, most loving, generous and caring person I knew!! I was unable to attend her funeral, but she will always occupy a special place in my heart! Love, Tears & Prayers! God Bless Your Soul! Your nephew

Liz was my supervisor at Ohio Bell in the late 60s. She became a dear friend. I remember fun times on Madison Ave. and Seymour. She surely loved Lisa, Mark, Natalie, and " little Nate". I'm lucky to have known her. God Bless her and her family.

May I first say that the Lord has called home another one of his angels that he had on earth. Sister Jones was such a sweetheart and she was so kind to me and my son's. I pray that the Lord will be with her family in the time of need. She will be greatly missed.

We had so much fun at work. Everyday was a joy to be together.Loved going to farm, to casino, and out to lunch. O-H-I-O. She loved her football. She will be missed. So glad I got to tell her I loved her Friday night.
