Growing up on Kenworth, you could not miss the aroma of GENOS Pizza. at age 57, I can still say it was the best pizza ever. Vera was a "people" person, and I enjoyed her talks on slow nights or shrill tone when angry & tired. Vera would incourage us to dance to the jute box music, while waiting for a pizza. Miss the fun of the Pica family. I found a piture a while back of an Italian street with a sign "Genos Pizzeria" I have it hanging in my dining room ,to remind me of my childhood memories. Including the rides to deliver pizzas,

I never knew Vera, but I know that she raised a wonderful family. I know her son Kevin, and her daughter Marina was my English teacher from grades 5-12. Marina was a caring, giving teacher, and Kevin is a caring, giving, compassionate, and warm human being. All thoughts and prayers are with the Pica family today.

The best pepperoni and mango pizza in the world!(every weekend) Geno's is such a huge part of my fondest childhood memories. Vera was always so nice. I also loved to drive by and look at the Pica house. It was the prettiest house in the neighborhood when I was little. I still love to look at it when I go to mass at St. James from time to time. My prayers go out to the Pica family.

Dear Kevin, Craig, Marisa, David, Gary, Domenic: Dear Good Friends: "Vera" as we all knew her, was an amazing classy woman, and a wonderful friend to me and my late husband "Bing," and the Currens Family. While visiting with her just 2 weeks ago at Mayfair Nursing Facility, she still looked elegant with her red blanket embracing her tiny frame and keeping her warm on a very warm evening. She asked if her hair looked OK and I said "You Look Beautiful" She was a tremendous cook and Pizza, Salad & Pasta the specialties. So many fond and loving memories of a wonderful, dedicated, hard-working, fun and loving lady and I could go on and on. Sincere Sympathy and Prayers to steadfast Kevin & Craig, Marisa & David, Gary, Domenic and all of Vera's family. She will be missed!! Our Loss and Heaven's Gain. Love, Your Friend, Ruthie and Family
