Fannie Rosenfeld Obituary

ROSENFELD Fannie (Frances) Rosenfeld, 102, died peacefully in Ft. Lauderdale Florida, Wednesday, August 2, 2006. Frances was born in Columbus, Ohio, to Anne and Louis Rapenport, one of seven children. She graduated from the Ohio State University Pharmacy School in 1926. Frances operated a retail business with her husband until their retirement in 1967. They moved to Lauderhill, Florida but always retained close ties with family and friends in the Columbus area. Frances was preceded in death by her husband Dave, her son Edward, sisters Hattie Stedelman, Goldie Goldman, Dorothy Goldstein, brothers Robert Rapenport and Richard Rapenport, daughter-in-law Barbara Rosenfeld. Frances is survived by her son, Stanley and wife, Branka; grandson, Stephan and wife, Kristine; granddaughter, Susan DuCovna and husband, Brian; great-grandchildren, Nicholas, Sydnie and Benjamin Rosenfeld; sister, Elizabeth Nebron; sisters-in-law, Ruth and Tille Rapenport; her devoted caregiver, Doreen Mundy; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was an inspiration and will be greatly missed by us all. Graveside service will be held Friday, August 4, 2006 at 4 p.m. at Agudas Achim Cemetery, corner of Alum Creek Road and Route #104, Columbus, OH. GORDON-FLURY, 330-836-7989.
