Frank X. Asbeck III

Asbeck, III Frank X. Asbeck III, age 72, of Sunbury and formerly of Columbus, died Tuesday, August 2, 2016 at his home after a lengthy battle with ALS. He was born on January 4, 1944 in Columbus, Ohio, the son of the late Frank X. Jr. and Mary (Buehler) Asbeck. Frank was a graduate of Pleasant View High School in Grove City in the class of 1961. On September 28, 1963 he married Nancy Sebenoler at St. Peter's Church in Upper Sandusky. He and Nancy were active members at St. Anthony's in Columbus for many years and more recently with St. John Neumann in Sunbury. He worked for over 30 years at Lennox Industries as a Production Manager and also for Tamarack Farms in Newark in the same capacity. He and Nancy retired to Sunbury where he found his "farm" in the country where he'd drive his John Deere, fish in the pond, or hang out in the barn he recently had built. Frank's life can be summed up in his love for his family and the outdoors. He will be missed by his wife, Nancy; their three boys, Christopher (Julie) of Cincinnati, Michael (Gretchen) of Cincinnati, and Adam of Gahanna; four grandchildren, Samuel, Nicholas, Jacob, and Maxwell; and two sisters, Regina and Christine. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother Greg who died in Vietnam, and his grandson Noah. Friends may call on the family on Monday, August 8, 2016 from 4-7 p.m. at the DeVORE-SNYDER FUNERAL HOME, 637 North State Route 61, Sunbury, Ohio 43074. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Tuesday at 10 a.m. at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 9633 East State Route 37, Sunbury, Ohio 43074 with Father David Sizemore officiating. The committal service will be held that afternoon at St. Joseph's Cemetery, 6440 S High Street, Lockbourne, Ohio 43137 at 1:45 p.m. Memorial contributions, if desired, may be made to The ALS Association Gift Processing Center, P.O.
