Frank Lerner

LERNER Frank Lerner, age 70, of Columbus passed away Sunday, May 8, 2005 in the comfort of his home after a short fight with Cancer. Preceded in death by parents Harry and Ethel Lerner, brother Andy, and father-in-law and mother-in-law Michael and Dorothy Silverberg. Survived by loving wife, Irene; son, Steven (April) Lerner; granddaughter, Michelle Lerner; son, Craig Lerner; step-mother, Prude Lerner; brother, Harry (Riva) Lerner; aunt and uncle, Artie and Ros Nissen; Brothers-in-law, Arthur (Joyce) and Leon (Miriam) Silverberg; sister-in-law, Judy Lerner; nieces, nephews and loved friends who were family. Frank was larger than life and lived to love his family and friends. He was the main attraction in every room and was happiest with the spotlight on and entertaining those around him. In business, he was respected for his talents as a photographic artist and commercial photographer. From the early days in New York as a fashion photographer shooting for the largest cosmetic companies in the world and Italian VOGUE to the past 30 years working in Columbus, Frank Lerner demonstrated brilliant talent and limitless creativity. Funeral service 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 10, 2005 at THE EPSTEIN MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 3232 E. Main Street, with Rabbi Michael Dick and Cantor Baruch Shifman officiating. Burial to follow at New Agudas Achim Cemetery. Memorials preferred in lieu of flowers to the American Cancer Society. Shiva will be observed at Mrs. Irene Lerner's residence.
