Frieda Renner Obituary

RENNER Frieda Louise (Baas) Renner, age 80, went home to the Lord on March 18, 2005. Beloved wife of late Elton C. Renner (2000); loving mother of Charles, Stephanie and Kenneth. She was born August 27, 1924 in Columbus and retired from Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus. Member of Order of Eastern Star (OES) Elizabeth Chapter #56, Plain City and Plain City Presbyterian Church. Frieda resided at Pine Valley Care Center, Richfield, Ohio, after living with her daughter for several years. Frieda enjoyed gardening, sewing, camping, knitting and visiting with family and friends. Preceded in death by brothers Edward Baas, Arthur Baas and Robert Baas, sister Mary Baas. Frieda is survived by son, Charles (Barbara) Renner of Berryville, Virginia; daughter, Stephanie (Jay) Gardiner of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio; son, Kenneth (Amy) Renner of Plain City; grandchildren, Ariel Renner, Megan Renner and Matthew Renner, and Nickalas (Angela) Gardiner, Tiffany Gardiner and Timothy Gardiner; great granddaughter, Savanna Starr; brother-in-law, Milton Renner of Wyoming; sister-in-law, Edith Baas of Indiana. Family will receive friends at FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME, 202 E. Main Street (St. Rte. 161W), Plain City on Tuesday, March 22, 2005 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., where the funeral will be Wednesday, March 23, 2005 at 10 a.m., followed by interment at Forest Grove Cemetery. Pastor Don Hilkerbaumer officiating. In lieu of flowers, friends who wish may contribute to Plain City Presbyterian Church, 231 East Main Street, Plain City, Ohio 43064.
